Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as favourites to sign Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa according to Gambling.com.
Having missed out on European football last season, Eddie Howe will be looking to strengthen his squad before the new season in the hope of improvement.
One name that could be on the Magpies’ radar this summer is Juventus winger Federico Chiesa who has been backed as a possible signing at St James’ Park.
Gambling.com has Newcastle as the second favorite to sign Chiesa at 7/4, narrowly behind Spurs who are backed at 6/4.
According to reports, Juventus have held talks with Newcastle over a possible deal for Chiesa which is expected to be around the £20 million mark.

Eddie Howe is keen on bringing in a winger this summer to replace Miguel Almiron who looks set to be moving away from St James’ Park.
They have been linked with Pedro Neto from Wolves, Raphina from Barcelona, and Chelsea’s Noni Madueke.
However, Newcastle is yet to make a bid for any of these which could prompt a move for Chiesa who will be the cheapest of the lot.

Gambling.com betting analyst James Leyfield says that Villa has expressed interest in Chiesa as they prepare for their first-ever Champions League campaign this season.
Manchester United has been touted as a less likely destination for the winger as Erik Ten Hag has committed to holding into Jadon Sancho at the position.
