Ruben Dias
2022/23 has not been Ruben Dias’ best year in a Manchester City shirt. Injuries have largely handicapped the Portuguese international’s season – nevertheless, he remains one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
When fully fit, Dias is an absolute rock at the back. Technically, he can sometimes be lacking – but his raw defensive ability more than makes up for it.
He has made 22 Premier League appearances for the Sky Blues this season – they have only lost one of the games that he has played in during the current campaign.
