Kaoru Mitoma
First up is Kaoru Mitoma – before you ask, no, this is not the first time he has appeared on a list such as this! The Japanese dynamo has had an excellent start to the season – as have the rest of the Brighton squad.
After falling behind early on against Bournemouth at the weekend, the Seagulls were forced to battle back – a brace from Mitoma, alongside an own goal scored by Milos Kerkez, gave them the three points.
Mitoma was at his brilliant best once again as Brighton overcame the Cherries. His first goal was scored just as the second half began, with the second coming in the 77th minute – all in all, he attained 14 points.
