We feel somewhat guilty for putting Fabian Schar on this list. He was an integral part of the Toon’s squad last season – but he is also their most expensive defender.
At £5.0, it would probably be a better idea to add Sven Botman or Dan Burn to your team instead – at £4.5 each, they are both cheaper than the Swiss ball-player.
Moreover, Schar isn’t getting any younger. At 31 years of age, his time in the Newcastle United first team could be more limited than some may think.
