Kevin Keegan
Kevin Keegan may be best known for his infamous ‘I will love it’ line, but there’s far more to his managerial reign at Newcastle than just an amusing soundbite.
The Doncaster-born man almost led Newcastle to a Premier League title in 1996 – only to forfeit a 12-point lead over Manchester United. It wasn’t necessarily Keegan’s fault – his penchant for attacking football proved to be his downfall.
Outside of Newcastle, Keegan managed several other clubs, to varying degrees of success – including Fulham, Manchester City and the England national team.
