It’s true – Aleksandar Mitrović wasn’t the player that he is now while he was at Newcastle. Still, he always gave 100% and scored some big goals from the Toon during his time in the North East.
He joined Newcastle from Anderlecht for a reported fee of £13 million – making him one of the more inexpensive players on this list.
When it was all said and done, Mitrovic scored 14 goals in 65 appearances for Newcastle. He signed for Fulham on a permanent basis in 2018 for £22 million.
