In the 2022/23 Premier League season, Newcastle United enjoyed one of their most successful – and most entertaining – campaigns in decades.

The 2021 takeover of the club is already paying dividends. Under new their ownership, the Toon have been able to sign a host of exciting talents – some of which will be featured on this list.

Using statistics from analytical site FBref, we have been able to name Newcastle’s three most creative players last season, based on progressive passes, progressive carries and assists.

Newcastle were perhaps best known for their defensive solidity last season – but their creative output was also extremely impressive.
