Loris Karius

It’s hard not to feel sorry for Loris Karius. Ever since the 2018 Champions League final, his once-promising career has fallen off a cliff – along with his confidence.

Likewise, given his pedigree, it is unlikely that he is on a particularly low wage – which is something you don’t want for your third-choice goalkeeper.

Both Nick Pope and Martin Dubravka are leagues ahead of Karius currently. As such, it is probably best if the German shot-stopper moves on in the summer.
