Newcastle United are in a very strong position heading into the 2023/24 Premier League – however, we believe there is some fat in their squad that needs to be trimmed.

Today, we’ll be looking at three players who Newcastle should look to move on in the ongoing summer transfer window, to ensure their squad does not become bloated.

We will be examining players from three different positions – we’ll be taking a look at a goalkeeper, a defender and a central midfielder for this list.

For reference, we do not think that any of the players on this list are necessarily bad – we just feel they are not a good fit for the Toon at the moment.
