Newcastle United could sell Callum Wilson for £18m before the transfer window closes, according to the Evening Standard.
The newspaper claims that the Magpies are keen on offloading the England international in order to balance the books, with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all said to have been made aware of the player’s availability.
There has been a mixed reaction to the news that Newcastle could sell Wilson among supporters on X:

If the rumours are true & we are offering Callum Wilson to the likes of Chelsea, West Ham, Man Utd etc we must have someone big lined up to replace him this window.
No way we`re battering every minute out of Isak between now & the end of the season #NUFC

Callum Wilson is still a lethal striker he has a ratio of almost a goal in every game through his entire premier league career

Don’t mind selling him but we can’t be selling him to anyone between us and 5-6th place

Newcastle may feel it is time to cash in
With Wilson turning 32 on his next birthday, and the fact that he is a pretty injury-prone player, you can see the reason why the Magpies would consider selling him.
His price will only depreciate in the future, and there are clearly plenty of clubs who would be willing to take him off their hands now.
Wilson needs to be replaced
The striker scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season and, while he does have his issues staying fit, he is still one of the club’s biggest goal threats.
If Newcastle do decide to sell Wilson ahead of deadline day, a replacement needs to be found to ensure that manager Eddie Howe is not left with a weakened squad.
